
Godrej manufactured the two 930 tonnes reactors, 40 x 8.6 x8.45 meter, for Indian Oil Corporation, Paradip, for their refinery project of national importance.Equipment of such massive weight was handled by Boxco Logistics India Private Limited and deugro Projects (India) together and for the first time, shipped through Mumbai port. For this specific purpose, deugro chartered a special vessel HLL RICHARDS BAY, fitted with 2 x 700 tonnes capacity cranes and owned by Hansa Heavy Lift GmbH to load these two tractors at Mumbai Port’s BPS terminal. The vessel was converted to a coastal flag before sailing from Mumbai Port to Paradip. Mr.Rajeev Gupta, Chairman of Mumbai Port Trust, expressed his keen appreciation for the skill and professionalism of both deugro Projects and Boxco Logistics in successful handling of these two reactors for the first time since the inception of Mumbai Port. Mr.Rajeev Gupta, Chairman and Mr. Dilip Garde, Traffic Manager of Mumbai Port, received mementos from Mr.Satish Kumar Singh, Director-Projects of deugro India, Mr. Janesh Gulati, Executive Director and Mr. Vijayan D’Souza of Boxco Logistics.
