Kandla Port breaks VOC Port’s record in handling Rock –Phosphate

Earlier in September 2012, V.O.C. Chidambaranar Port created a record by handling 26,527 tonnes of Rock-Phosphate in a day and now, Kandla port exceeded the mark by handling 28,350 tonnes of the same in a day. The vessel is mv JIN DA and Mystic Shipping Private Limited (MSPL) was the handling agent and the stevedores for the vessel. Though the vessel reached the port on 9th October with an import cargo of 32,400 T. of Rock-Phosphate, the record was created on 19 October.  Mr. H.C. Venkatesh, Traffic Manager and Mr. Mukesh Balani, Additional Traffic Manager congratulated the team for achieving this feat appreciating the commitment of the team.
