UASC to commence a direct service to Turkey

United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) introduces a direct service from the Indian Subcontinent, Arabian Gulf and Red Sea to Turkey, on 1 of November, 2012. The GEM1 will cover the other East Mediterranean and North African ports though relay services at Port Said; it will also have access to a number of Black Sea Ports through relay services over Istanbul. The GEM1 service will have a total of 8 x 4,250 TEU vessels. The service will have the following rotation: Khor Fakkan, Sohar, Port Sultan     Qaboos, Karachi, Mundra, Khor Fakkan, Jebel Ali, Bahrain, Jubail, Khor Fakkan, Jeddah, Yanbu, Port Said, Mersin, Istanbul, Izmir, Port Said, Yanbu, Jeddah and Khor Fakkan. The service will provide UASC customers a very competitive transit times on both ways.
