Solace Global Maritime gains ISO 14001:2004 certification

Solace Global Maritime, a well-known maritime security services provider, has been awarded the ISO 14001:2004 certification for implementing an effective environmental policy throughout the company. ISOQAR, one of the first independent certification bodies with its own regional auditors through out UK and a network of operations spread across the globe, offers a set of strict criteria that build a successful Environmental Management System by which a company can reduce its impact on the environment particularly in terms of waste output and carbon emissions. Mr. David Peach, MD, commented that they provide the best service to their customers “by carefully considering and evaluating the ways in which we conduct business”. Solace’s QSHE Manager Mr. Tony Hanson added: “Our BS EN ISO 14001 certification provides us with the stamp of approval for our hard work and demonstrates that we are serious about our environment and our future. As environmental challenges present themselves, our new environmental management system will help us to put in place objectives and actions needed to overcome them”.
