In the Gujarat Star Awards 2012, organized on October 13 at the Grand Bhagavati, Ahmedabad, CMA CGM was honoured with the award, Gujarat-Europe Container Shipping Line of the year award. The Chief Executive Officer, Indian National Ship-owners Association, Mr. Anil Devli and FFFAI Chairman Mr. Shantanu Bhadkamkar presented the award to Ms. Audrey Dolhen ,Commercial Director, CMA CGM. The company, which is the world’s third largest shipping group with its headquarters in Marseille (France), operates out of 650 offices and agencies in more than 150 countries. With regular service on about 170 shipping lines, the company satisfies the expectations of its customers across the world. It is also one of the shipping lines that can boast of the whole logistics chain that provides door-to-door service. With a large fleet of nearly 390 vessels out of which around 100 are owned by it, CMA CGM Agencies (India) Private Limited has 22 offices across the nation and out of them, three are representative offices. As of now, it operates through 11 gateway ports and 33 Inland Container Depot and 3 Container Freight Stations, owned by it. The services of the company from and to India cover the following countries: China and Korea; Australia; Indian Ocean Islands, East and West Coast of Africa, Red Sea, Middle East, Mediterranean Sea, North Europe, North Africa, West and East Coast of US, Mexico Carribean, West and East Coast of South America.
