International Maritime Boundary Line Meeting between India and Sri Lanka


Such International Maritime Boundary Line Meetings are held with an exclusive aim of strengthening the maritime relationship between countries. The 21st International Maritime Boundary Line Meeting between India and Sri Lanka was held on board the Sri Lanka naval ship Sagara at the Indo-Sri Lanka Maritime Boundary Line off Kankasanthurai. The meeting was attended by delegations from both the countries. The Sri Lanka delegation consisted of Sri Lanka Navy and Sri Lanka Coast Guard officials and their Indian counterparts formed the delegation from India.  Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Ravindra  Wijegunaratne headed the Sri Lankan delegation.
