Tiger Logistics has signed an exclusive agreement with Eagle Logistics, a major player in the logistics sector in Sri Lanka, who are also involved in warehousing and distribution.Tiger Logistics is already very strong in the Indian subcontinent and in Sri Lanka, where it moves close to 300 Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) every month. With this exclusive tie-up, its volumes are expected to double as both the companies are focusing strongly on the Indo-Sri Lanka trade lane.
At present, Tiger Logistics handles automobiles (primarily) and home appliance shipments into Sri Lanka. In the coming months, both of them are expected to grow in this burgeoning sector.
Tiger Logistics is a well established company in the South American market where it is the leader from India.
