Shreyas Shipping &Logistics adds one more vessel to its fleet

The new cellular container vessel is named OEL KOCHI. Receiving the vessel on Aug. 1 in Singapore, Mr. S. Ramakrishnan, Chairman and Managing Director, Shreyas Shipping &Logistics Limited, said very happily indeed: “Shreyas has inducted one more vessel to its fleet and dedicates her maiden call at Cochin Port to the Nation for the coastal trade on the eve of 65th Independence Day.” With this addition, Shreyas owns five vessels out of which three of the larger vessels will operate on the West Coast. OEL KOCHI will establish particularly a good connectivity between Vallarpadam at Kochi and all Indian ports and container terminals. The company is a part of the Transworld Group of Companies and it has been listed both on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange. It began its operations in 1994 as the first private company owning and operating feeder service in India.
